I had a good shopping day today.

I got my watch resized, it's been driving me nuts for half a year, now it doesn't keep flipping the wrong way round. It's perfect. I think they call my watch forbidden an automatic. It winds itself. None of this battery operated crap for me. I would never by a battery operated watch, unless it was for diving or shot lasers at my enemies.

I bought some jewelry for my septum. I thouht my septum was a 6, and I saw an interesting piece that was shaped like a moustache, that was a 2, so I bought a 4 and a 2 so I could stretch. Aparantly it was already a 4, oh well, that would explain why the last piece I bought was so hard to get in. I do love the delicious pain of stretching my septum. I could do withiut the runny nose and sneazing though.

I bought some tea, and some tea paraphernalia at teavana. Monkey oolong tea ore something, it's quite good, but the sales girl said thatthe third to fifth brewing is better. This was new to me, so I bought their gravity teapot, which is cool and coconvenient and I recomend it highly. Apparently the tea needs to breath a bit between brewings, so I bought this pot of theirs. Funny thing is that I went into this shop loking for sarsaparilla root. Ive been wanti g to make sarsaparilla (root beer) for a long time now, but I can't find the root and all the local stuff is buried under snow, and I'm not entirely sure I would recognize the plant except under perfect conditions. Anyway they dic not have any, it's a gimmicky store, they don't make any of tehir own shit (in store) but I like the brand enough thatI bought their teacup that fits under the teapot with their logo on it, I'm not willing to think that that is sufficient to make me a whore.

I found a nice magnetic meditation mat at the branded secondhand store (Value Village/Savers), I mostly bought it as a prop, but it's right nice.

I always feel shitty shopping here, because they are unethically trying to convince their consumers that they are community oriented, they are not, they are for profit, and an american company. The minutest portion of their overhead is given to local charities, and they are constantly asking for donations. Don't donate to this company so i can find that sort of selection at good will or sally ann &c.

With that said it makes me feel good swhen I find so ething of value there, that they haven't marked up to retain prices, like the 925 silver earings, and the seed pearl bracelet I found today.

I also found an interesting pendant made from a domino, that I think my mother would enjoy making for tourests. The locals on her island have a big thing for dominos, so she could make something of it, especially if she can find someone who makes dominos locally.

I also found an interesting necklace made of different sized rings. Makes me think of a maesters necklace, or a lower officials chain of office. I like it, though it is worth nothing.

I guess that's it, it wasn't a huge shopping spee, but it was cathartic to me.

in the dungeon

I reminded myself today of an experience I had in the dungeon in NOLA, I suspect that it was one of you.

We conversed for a while about spiritual topics. You mentioned to me that an evil man is reincarnsted less times than a saintly man.

If you or anyone else can point me in the direction of a quote, I'd appreciate it. And if anyone remembers being in the dungeo talking to tnis wanker about a week before mardi gras after Katrina, I'd certainly like to chat with you more.

Just sayin'.

It's been long time. Seriously thinking of returning hardcore. Nothing is the same, except of course the plethora of banality that is rampant everywhere, but I'm sure I'll get used to that quick enough.
